Green (or purple) Bean Salad:
    1/4 cup minced onions
    2 tablespoons oil
    1 tablespoon vinegar
    chopped basil
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 garlic cloves
    pepper to taste
    1/2-1 pound snap beans
Mix all ingredients except beans. Marinate raw beans in dressing for 24 hours.
